Weather signals for pest control sales

The weather just changed. So did your call list.

PestSignal reads the weather and the pest conditions in every ZIP you serve, then matches them against your own customer and lead history — who was quoted, who cancelled, who bought last spring, who just replied. Every morning your reps get a short list: who to call, why now, what to say. Start from an export of the system you already use. Nothing is written back.

What's in the Signal List

You paid to get every name in that system. Most of them are worth another conversation — just not all on the same day. Weather signals tell PestSignal when; your own history tells it who. Three kinds of names show up on the list:

Current customers due for another service

The quarterly customer whose yard is about to be a mosquito problem. The one-time job that should be a plan. The list says who is due for what, and what to offer.

sell more to people who already trust you

Former customers whose conditions came back

They cancelled two years ago because the ants went away. Same house, same woods, same weather coming. When conditions turn, they're the easiest call of the week.

they already know your work

Quotes and old leads whose timing is right now

Quoted and went quiet. Called once, no answer. Lost on price last spring. The list finds the ones worth another shot this week — not someday — and says why.

How it works

1

Send us an export

A spreadsheet export of your customers, leads, services and notes is enough to start — from any system you run. Direct connections are set up per company during onboarding. Nothing is ever written back into your software.

2

Every morning, PestSignal crosses the conditions with your history

It reads the weather and pest conditions in your markets, then your own record: past inquiries, estimates, services, outcomes, recent activity and replies. Your company's history drives the list — not a generic pest calendar.

3

Your reps work the Signal List

A short, ranked list with the reason on every line: why now, what to do next, what to say. You tell us what happened — booked, not now, wrong number — and the list gets sharper. Sell them once, and you can sell them for years.

Why weather signals work

Heavy rain pushes ants indoors for days afterward. Termite swarms follow storms in season. Mosquitoes show up about two weeks after the rain — the list knows before your phone does. We spent five years of daily demand data across four states learning which conditions actually move the phone, and threw out the findings that didn't hold up. PestSignal applies what survived to your list, not to a generic calendar.

Heavy rain → antsAnt demand climbs from about day two after a soaking rain and stays elevated for roughly two weeks.
Storms in season → termitesIn the growing season, termite calls cluster in the days right after rain and pressure drops — the swarm window.
Your ZIPs, not the stateConditions are read for the markets you actually serve, then crossed with which of your customers had that pest before.
A timing signal, not a demand engineWeather tells us when. Your history tells us who. Neither one works as well alone.

Weather signals + your customer history. One product.

PestSignal is software your sales team uses inside the way they already work — not a marketing retainer, not an agency.

Add-on: Property IntelligenceProperty-level and neighborhood signals — crawl spaces, nearby water, construction two doors down — that amplify the weather signal for a specific address. Priced separately.
Onboarding: data check & cleanupWe score your data first and tell you what's missing or inconsistent. Cleanup is a one-time onboarding charge — messy data costs money, and we'd rather tell you up front.

What we won't do

Plain rules your team can read. They're in the agreement, not just on this page.

  • No shared leads. Your list works for you and nobody else. It can't be resold, shared, or used for another company.
  • Nothing written into your system. We read; we don't write. Your records stay exactly as your team left them.
  • No contact outside your rules. Your people make the calls. We never reach out to your customers on our own.
  • No marketing retainer. This is software your team uses. We don't run your ads or your phones.

Straight answers

What is a weather signal?

A change in local conditions that we know moves pest demand a few days later — a soaking rain, a storm front in swarm season, a pressure drop, a stretch of heat. PestSignal watches those in every ZIP you serve and crosses them with who in your database had that pest before. That is why the list changes when the weather does.

Which software does it work with?

Any system you can export from — Briostack, PestPac, FieldRoutes, ServiceTitan, GoHighLevel, spreadsheets. Direct connections are set up per company during onboarding; an export is always enough to start.

Is this a marketing agency?

No. PestSignal is a tool your sales team uses inside the systems you already run. We don't run your ads or your phones, and there's no retainer. If you already have an agency, keep it — the Signal List makes their leads worth more, too.

Does this replace my campaigns and sequences?

No. Your seasonal emails and texts still go to everyone. PestSignal picks the handful out of that list that should get a phone call from a person today, and tells the rep why. It sits next to what you already do.

My reps already know who to call.

The good ones do — for the fifty names they remember. PestSignal reads the other few thousand every morning, plus the weather, plus who replied overnight, and hands them a short list with the reason on each line. It makes a good rep faster, not replaceable.

Is this AI?

It's a ranked list with a reason next to every name. Under the hood it's weather data, pest ecology, and your own company's history — inquiries, estimates, services, outcomes — put together in a way a person can check. If the reason on the line isn't a good reason, the name doesn't belong on the list, and you can tell us so.

What does it cost?

A daily platform fee, tiered by how big your list is. You get your number on the demo, in writing, before you decide anything. No contract to start.

Where does the weather data come from?

National Weather Service and Open-Meteo observations for the markets you serve, matched against five years of daily pest demand data across four states. Here's what held up — and what we threw out.

What happens to my list?

It's yours — before, during, and after. When your customers gave you their number, they gave it to your company, and that permission doesn't transfer to us or anyone else. The only thing we can ever do with your list is work it for you.

My database is small. Still worth it?

Honest answer: under about a thousand records, probably not yet. Book the call anyway — we'll tell you straight in five minutes and tell you what to do so the list grows in good shape.
